Newton 100 or the OMP The first Newton, which was sold, wasn't very much liked by the team. Totally castrated with a small display, only one PCMCIA slot and still not very well functioning software it seems to please the board members. So it went into the shops and into the users hands. First only named "Newton" it became "Newton 100" when the improved Newton 110 was introduced. Today he's mostly called OMP (original message pad). This is the original prototype of the OMP. They made some slight changes to this in the final design: Good customers and VIPs got a specail clear vesion.
